Welcome to Planet Reef

St. Louis fish retail and mail-order store with saltwater fish, coral, inverts, dry goods -- and inspiration!

Planet Reef was founded in 2006. We spared no expense to build out our state-of-the-art 2,000 square foot St. Louis fish store. Our store features 700-gallon tanks, a unique surrounding coral cove, kid-friendly movies and educational resources, and many other custom-built extras to showcase our diverse stock.

The entire Planet Reef team shares a passion for saltwater fish. Many of our employees are dedicated collectors, with firsthand knowledge and experience that they’re always willing to share. If you have any kind of question, just ask! We’re here to help. And, if we don’t know the answer, we’ll ask our colleagues or draw on our in-store resources to find out. The goal of the Planet Reef team is to maintain a clean, entertaining, family-friendly environment. That means you’ll never be pressured to purchase anything, but we won’t ignore you, either. We love sharing our advice and experience, whether you’re brand new to the hobby or an experienced pro. We hope you’ll give us a call or ask if you have questions about anything and everything related to saltwater fish.
